Are you experiencing any?
I'm really only referring to withdrawals from seeing edible goodies here on the blog, if you're suffering from any other type, I'm afraid I can't help - or at least not today. My apologies.
But, if your withdrawals are of the missing edible goody variety, a syndrome I can completely understand since it's been nearly two months (TWO months!) since I shared any cakes or cookies or cupcakes with you, then it's your lucky day.
Why is it lucky? Well, I've got one word for you - May. As in the month of May and all the sweets I created during it's 31 days - 24 creations in all.
Shall we get started on the cure? Maybe we should see if we can find 24 synonyms for "cure...;" one to go with each goody. Let's play!
Side note: I love this cake; surprising, no? Go Pokes!!
Side note: this was a fun graduation cake to put together - a bit out of the same ol' same ol'.
Side note: had fun creating this one too. It's been awhile since I made a baseball cap cake; this one was made in the likeness of the grad's team hat.
Side note: yep, it's a graduation cake - again, something you don't expect to see among all the usual grad caps, tassels, and diplomas.
#21: Quick Fix
Side note: yes, that is a play on crime scene tape on a graduation cake; probably one of the more out-of-the-box grad cakes I've created, but a very fun idea for a group of graduates who are "partners in crime."
#24: Help (yes, I'm digging deep for synonyms at this point...)
But, looky, looky - managed to find 24 alternative words for "cure." True some of them are more of a stretch than others, but sometimes you gotta get creative. And, bonus, you got to see all the creations from May; I caught up on a month's worth of backlogged photos (still got June to go though...sigh), and, you quite possibly might have expanded your vocabulary. Win, win, win!
One last option, just for good measure: elixir vitae.
Hope you are cured now; if not, I have intentions of being back soon, albeit with shorter posts.
Talk to you soon!
